(Reuters) - CVC Capital Partners​ has launched a bid for Sweden's Ahlsell AHSL.ST just two years after listing it, valuing the construction products and tools distributor at about 24 billion

In 2016, CVC Funds as the principal owner, through Keravel, executed Ahlsell's initial public offering of its shares on Nasdaq Stockholm. After the listing, CVC Funds have maintained the role of principal shareholder in Ahlsell.
